Unfortunately, I don't have any information about the books school students read today. I just hope they have less rus classic books and are open to a massive list on Ukrainian and World authors' names.

As for my favorites, it's the authors of Executed Renaissance (1920-30s): Pidmohylny, Kulish;

It's Ivan Bahrianyi.

Also, it's English literature (realism) - Dickens, Thackeray, Austen...

American - I'm a big fan of Hemingway. Faulkner and Kurt Vonnegut are also in my reading list. :)

Well, realism and dystopism are my favorites. Orwell, Huxley, Bradbury, Burgess... The list is long.
