Hm... Isn't "Farewell, unwashed russia" by Lermontov who was also so skillful in praising a gang rape of a woman by his fellow soldiers in his poem "Ulansha"?
Anyway, my point was to show this particular face of rus literature because it's EXACTLY what others don't see when reading all those poets whose names dozens of Ukrainian streets have (why?) and whose monuments dozens of Ukrainian cities have (why?) despite the fact they all either communicated imperialistic (soviet) and shovinistic messages or just hated everything related to Ukraine (Bukhakov's "The Days of the Turbins," for example) or other nations like Caucasian ethnic groups, etc.
Take care!
